The 18-hole Puech course
Nine holes were created in 2012 by the architect Robert Berthet, on a plateau overlooking the whole region.
The other nine were once the last holes of the Coulondres course, designed in 1980 by Donald Harradine. They were reworked to form, with the plateau holes, the 18-hole Puech course.

The Puech in figures
The Puech is the 18-hole course at Golf du Pic Saint-Loup, in Saint-Gély-du-Fesc, north of Montpellier. A par 70 measuring 5,592 m from the white tees, it alternates between an exposed plateau with 360° views over the region and a narrower, sheltered hillside.
The longest hole is the 14th, a 500 m par 5. The shortest, the 17th, is a 129 m par 3. The two hardest holes are the 15th (stroke index 1), a 357 m par 4, and the 10th (stroke index 2), a 326 m par 4. The course is hilly: a buggy is recommended for a first round.

Do I need a licence?
Yes. A current French Golf Federation licence is required.
How much is a round?
€72 for an adult, €40 for under-25s, €34 for under-18s. With Golfy: €54 (Indigo card) or €50 (Platine card). All prices
Can I play just 9 holes?
Yes: the “Plateau” is a 9-hole round played on the Puech, at €48 for an adult.
Do I need a buggy?
The course is hilly. A buggy costs €38 for 18 holes and €26 for 9 holes.
Can I rent clubs?
Yes, at reception: €3 per club, €15 for a half set, €20 for a full set. Push trolley: €5.
